Saturday, October 28th is the Halloween Party!

We will have new decorations this year.  Scouts, please come and help with the  decorating at 9am.  It should only take two hours.  The more that come the faster we can get the fellowship hall ready for the party.

Adults and scouts should come in costume that night.  Franci will let us know what time scouts should be at the church for the party.  Troop 2 should be there first before the cub scouts arrive to welcome them.

Mental Health Class (adults), Saturday, Nov 4th 9am to 5:30pm

This is a class on children’s health and ways for adults detect and help.  For more information about the class, please ask Eric Schmidt at the next meeting.  The class will be held at the District Office 2409 Arnold Lane #1, off of 24th Street West.  Please bring a bag lunch.

REMEMBER:  the evergreens are a fresh product and they need to be delivered as quickly as possible.  It would be best if you make plans now to deliver your orders on that Saturday afternoon.  Just in time for the holiday season.

Money in-full is due at the Scout Meeting on Monday, November 27th.

Holiday Parade:  Cookie Preparations and Selling

Adults:  Sunday, November 19th, 1pm – 3pm we will bake sugar cookies in the kitchen at the church.  Then on Monday we will frost the cookies during the scouts meeting.  Cookies will be stores for selling at the parade n Friday night.

Friday, November 24th scouts need to be at the church at 5:30pm.  They should be dressed in class A uniform and be ready for the cold weather – dress warmly.  Scouts will help with set up on the street.  They will receive dinner.

This year, we will not be able to use the main kitchen to make the hot chocolate, etc.  We will use the small kitchen off the library.  Scouts should come to the main entry at the top of stairs to enter the church.  More information to follow.

We have a busy two to three months ahead – filled with fun things for the scouts!  Please post on your fridge so you don’t miss a thing!  Dennie has posted the 2018 calendar on our website.  You can make a copy!
